Tatiana Gabrielle Hobson was born on 25th January 1996, in San Francisco, California. Her mother is Traci Hewwit Hobson, who is of Korean American and Black descent, and her father is Terry Hobson. She has two siblings.
Hobson first acted in her third-grade film production, in an adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, where she portrayed Lemony Snicket. When she was in middle school she auditioned for Oakland School for the Arts and was admitted into their theater program. She graduated from Oakland School for the Arts with an outstanding GPA. After high school, Hobson moved to Atlanta. She studied Drama and French at Spelman College.

In 2014, Hobson debuted in her first movie role as Keating in the short film To Stay the Sword. A year later She moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles and was cast that same year in another short film Tatterdemalion and subsequently in the 2016 television show Just Jenna. Also in 2016, She starred in a guest role as Wackie Jackie in the Disney Channel comedy series K.C. Undercover. She also featured in an episode of Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans.
A year later, Hobson got a recurring role as Gaia in The CW apocalyptic drama The 100. She was also featured in an episode of the Hulu anthology series Dimension 404. Also in 2017, she voiced Addie in the film The Emoji Movie, playing the lead role. She recurred the role in the second season of Hulu’s Freakish as Birdie and on the TBS animated series Tarantula.
In March 2018, Hobson joined the cast portraying the recurring role of Prudence in the Netflix original series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. In 2020, she had another main role as Marianne Bellamy in the third season of the Netflix psychological thriller series You. She portrayed the villain Jo Braddock in the 2022 film Uncharted
