Steph-Nora Okere was born on 26th April 1974 in Ngor-Okpala, a small village in Owerri, Imo State in the southeastern part of Nigeria, and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Nora grew up alongside her siblings and nurtured her passion for story writing and acting since her tender years.
EDUCATION
Steph-Nora Okere had her childhood in Lagos where she had her primary and secondary education. She migrated to Lagos state in southwest Nigeria at a very young age and had her basic education in St Paul Primary School located in Ebute Metta where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. She moved back to her state of origin to receive secondary education. Okere obtained her West African Senior School Certificate in Akwakuma Secondary School located in Imo State and later proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where she obtained her BSc degree in Theater Arts.

She stated during an interview that she was never married to Lanre Falana stressing that it was just a hoax engineered by the media. She reacted blatantly that the media gave fake publicity claiming that she got married to Lanre Falana and later divorced him.
