Prince Kaybee is a popular South African Disc Jockey (DJ), TV personality, and music producer. His real name is Kabelo Mostomai, he was born on the 15th of June, 1989 in Senekal close to Welkom in the Free State, South Africa.

Prince Kaybee is the youngest child of his parents and he is the only son of his mother. His father, Mr. Motsomai has 37 children including Kaybee. Kaybee stated that he doesn’t know all his siblings by name, he got to know about them when during his father’s funeral when they were all told to come on stage.

Family politics hindered him from knowing his siblings personally, he grew up with just his mother alone and his siblings grew up in different homes as well.

Kaybee was more of a stubborn child while growing up, he dropped out of school due to the lack of resources to take care of his fees. The same year he dropped out of school was the same year he got a girl pregnant and this made him run away from home.

The South African DJ was in grade 11 when he dropped out of school. Kaybee had to struggle all by himself to make money. He was away in the streets for three years without seeing his mum. He was living with his friend but later he found himself on the streets of Bloemfontein without shelter and was looking malnourished. Kaybee was searching for a job in various clubs until he found a job at a Nigerian claimed club as a DJ.

Prince Kaybee Career 

As stated above, Kaybee dropped out of school in grade 11, he left home and went to Bloemfontein where he got a job in a club as a Disc joker. He took part in the SABC1 reality contest 1’s and 2’s, the contest is all about gathering various contenders from all over South Africa in a DJ or electronic music maker competition and picking the best. Prince Kaybee won the competition, projecting a profession in house music production.

Kaybee started getting massive popularity in 2016, he was nominated in the category Listener’s Choice at the 6th MTV Africa Music Award. The following year, he got another nomination, it was in the category of the Tune of the Year at the inaugural DSTV Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Prince Kaybee went on to receive four nominations in 2018 at the 24th South African Music Awards (SAMAs). He was nominated in the following categories, Best Move Collection, Male Craftsman of the Year, Best Delivered Album, and Record of the Year. Kaybee went on to win the Male Craftsman of the Year.

That same year, Kaybee was appointed the guest Judge on the Season 1 finale of the SABC1 music reality competition series titled The Remix SA. Prince Kaybee is popularly known for various reasons which include his electric shows, his music, his current song theft allegations, and his great DJ skills. 

Prince Kaybee Relationship

Kaybee returned back to his ex-girlfriend Brown Bombo, they had parted ways earlier on. They returned back together and they got so close than ever before. They both started that there were not in a haste to exchange vows officially. Brown Bombo is a renowned businesswoman.

They both met each other at Five Star Boutique Hotel Fairlawns in Morningside. They both went to a spa treatment. The relationship ended when Brown accused Kaybee of not supporting her when her grandmother died.

Prince Kaybee admitted in 2020 that he has a new bae in his life, he has confirmed his relationship with Zola Ayabulela Mhlongo who is a media personality. Kaybee is a father, he has a beautiful daughter whom he cherishes so much.
