Lawrence Maleka is a popular South African actor, host, and presenter. He is well known for hosting the Mzansi Magic reality competition Clash of the Choirs South Africa.

Lawrence Maleka was born on 11th April 1990, in Soweto, South Africa. He has always attributed most of his childhood experiences spent in the city. Maleka has two older siblings, a brother, and a sister. Lawrence is about 5 Feet 6 inches tall.

The award-winning actor and TV host gained major recognition in 2009 as the Gadget Show’s presenter on Soweto TV. In 2015, Maleka replaced Fezile Makhanya as the host of the Lotto Powerball lottery game and also replaced Bonang Matheba as the host of ‘Clash of the Choirs South Africa.’

In 2022, Maleka hosted the third season of Big Brother Mzansi and also some of South Africa’s biggest award ceremonies such as the DStv MVC Awards and the South African Music Awards (Samas). He currently co-hosts alongside acclaimed Nigerian television presenter Ebuka Obi-Uchendu the new BBTitans show held in South Africa.

Maleka is married to actress Zenokuhle Maseko. He has kept most of his marital life private.
