Osas Ighodaro whose full name is Osariemen Martha Elizabeth Ighodaro is a Nigerian-American actress, model, humanitarian, producer, and host. The talented young actress was born on the 26th of October 1990. She was born in Bronx, New York, the United States to Nigerian parents hailing from the Edo States.

Osas had her primary and high school education in the Bronx, New York, in the United States. After that, she headed to the Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She also secured dual minors in entrepreneurship and theatre studies.
Osas didn’t just stop there after earning her first degree, she went on to Pace University Actor Studio Drama School where she earned a Master’s degree in Fine Arts.

Osas first started with modeling, she started her modeling career in the United States. In 2010, she represented Connecticut in the Miss Black USA pageant where she won. She remained in the United States after her reign, she worked as a model in various capacities. She ventured into acting and was featured in Hollywood movies which include: The collector, Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns, Migrations, and Cadillac Records.
In 2012, Osas returned to Nigeria, she intended to spend just 6 months and return back to the United States, however, things changed. She saw different virgin opportunities in the Nollywood industry. She was offered great job offers including the TV series Tinsel, where she played Adanna. Ever since then Osas has not returned to the United States.
Osas also got a very exciting job as Maltina Dance All reality TV show host. The talented actress has also been featured in several movies. She is now fully convinced that Nigeria would provide her with more lead roles in lots of TV shows and movies.
Osas Ighodaro Marriage
Osas Ighodaro was married to Gbenro Ajibade. Gbenro Ajibade is an actor, model, and producer. He is well known for his role on the TV series Tinsel, in which he has been featured since 2008.
Osas and Gbenro met each on the set of Tinsel and they got engaged in 2014 in New York during a vacation. They got married in New York on the 4th of July, 2015 with lots of friends and fellow actors and actresses in attendance. The traditional marriage rights were held in Benin.
They both welcomed their daughter on July 21, 2016. However, the celebrity union did not last long, they both had marital issues which resulted in divorce. They both called each other names and unfollowed each other on social media.

In 2010, Osas represented Connecticut in the Miss Black USA pageant where she won, and later on, she established a foundation known as the “Joyful Joy”. The foundation was used to raise funds and for awareness towards the campaign against Malaria. It was revealed that she was motivated to do that after she lost her sister to Malaria.
