Jennifer Shrader Lawrence was born on 15th August 1990, in Indian Hills, Kentucky to parents Gary Lawrence, a construction company owner, and Karen Lawrence, a summer camp manager. She has two older brothers, Ben and Blaine Lawrence. She was raised to be just as tough as her brothers and was permitted to play with other girls in her preschool as she was deemed “too rough” for the girls. She suffered anxiety growing up as she has difficulty fitting in with her peers. She attended Kammerer Middle School in Louisville.
