Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born on February 11, 1969, in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles to actor parents, John Aniston and Nancy Dow. At age nine, her parents divorced. She has two stepbrothers John Melick, her older half-brother from her mother, and Alex Aniston, her younger half-brother from her father. Her Godfather was the late actor Telly Savalas.

Aniston attended a Waldorf school. She became passionate about acting at age eleven, she was enrolled in Manhattan’s Fiorello H.
