Simi Audrey Adejumo popularly known as Simi Drey is a prominent Nigerian Actress, TV/Radio presenter, and model. Simi is one of the top broadcasters in Nigeria and has used her platform to create awareness about varieties of topics including the ones others seem to shy away from.
Simi is British-Nigerian, lived most of her life in the United Kingdom, although she hails from Ibadan Oyo state, Nigeria. She moved back to Nigeria a while back and has since then made a name for herself and stayed relevant in the entertainment industry.

Simi Drey’s Growing Up and Education
Simi was born on the 25th of June but the year is undisclosed. She was born to Nigerian parents living in the UK although in an interview with Bellanaija she mentioned her father lived in Nigeria full time. She loves talking about her siblings and how they tease each other growing up so it is not new information to say that she is not the only child of the Adejumos.
Simi graduated from the University of Wales with a first-class degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, and Media. She is not one to be idle so she founded the student Magazine and became the editor. She was involved in other extracurricular activities besides the school magazine editor like being a member of the women officers representing the school Student’s Guild.
How Simi’s career started
Simi decided to relocate to Nigeria after the completion of her internship at HiTV in Lagos which was a summer vacation job for her, but before her summer vacation job in Nigeria she had worked for a radio station in Wales called Calon FM. After weighing her chance between working as a broadcaster in the UK and Nigeria she chose Nigeria because there are more opportunities here and making her name for herself would be easily done here in Nigeria . After getting her university degree in 2015 she moved to Nigeria and signed up for NYSC.
Subsequently, during her NYSC year, she got a full-time job offer from CoolTV as a Presenter, and the rest they say is history. Simi is presently working at Beat FM as a Presenter, where she hosts a talk show most people keep talking about “The Saturday Afternoon Show and The Sunday Afternoon Show”.
Her career as a Model and Actress started after that, she would go for modeling and acting auditions. She is quite good at what she does because she landed herself amazing gigs. She has hosted several events both locally and internationally including the MTVema Awards, BetKingNigeria brand unveiling among others.
She has featured as an actress in many top movies and drama series which include; Tinsel, The Governor, Happy father’s Day, Another father’s Day”.
Her career as a model is also waxing strong as she models for top fashion brands.

Simi is not all just work because she has built an enviable social circle for herself. Simi is rumored to have dated the ex BBNaija star Uti Nwachukwu before they called it quits in 2017.
Simi is married to Julkuna Matata, who is German and the cofounder of BFree.

Simi is said to have been the youngest person yet to receive the Future Africa Awards at age 21 in 2019 and she won The Trek African Woman of the Year Awards in 2015.
