Juliana Olayode was born 7th of June, 1995 in Lagos into a family of eight, she is the youngest of six siblings. She is a native of Ipokia Local Government in Ogun State.
Olayode graduated from Babs Fafunwa Millennium Senior Grammar School, Ojodu–Berger, Lagos State. She got admitted to the University of Ibadan but was unable to attend due to a lack of funds to pay for the school fees. Regardless, she got different certifications that improved her skills as an actress and a person.
Career
Olayode had played minor roles in about four movies before she became popular. Those movies included “Couple of Days”. She landed the role of “Toyosi” in Jenifa’s Diary after attending the audition, this was the role that earned her fame and her popular moniker “Toyo baby”. She has since then become a household name in the Nigerian movie industry and has also featured in several other movies.
In 2017, Olayode published her first book, her autobiography, titled Rebirth: From Grass to Grace. The book is focused on her personal life, sexual abuse, and struggles as an actress.

Personal Life
In spite of having become famous due to her role “Toyosi” in Jenifa’s Diary. She made a shocking revelation to her fans with the news of her departure from the TV series. Olayode parted ways with actress Funke Akindele in 2017 over a misunderstanding. The reason for the misunderstanding is still unknown now, she however said she might share it in the future if she has Akindele’s permission.
The actress later accused Pastor Timi Adigun who was her spiritual father and manager of sending the email that got her off the show and also of s3xually assaulting her sister.
