Aidan Gallagher is an American actor and musician. His first lead role was playing Nicky Harper, one of the quadruplets in the Nickelodeon comedy television series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. He is famous for playing Number Five in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy.

Aidan Gallagher was born on 18th September 2003 to Lauren and Rob Gallagher. He was raised Jewish. He is a vegan.
Gallagher made his appearance by playing a minor role in a 2013 episode of Modern Family. He then featured in the short film You & Me and was cast in the CBS television pilot Jacked Up, which never aired. Gallagher’s first major role was in Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn as Nicky Harper. He featured in the show for its four seasons until it ended in 2018.
In February 2019, Gallagher landed another lead role in the Netflix superhero series The Umbrella Academy, which is an adaptation of the comic book series of the same name, as the younger version of Number Five.
Gallagher is passionate about environmental issues and has served as a youth advocate for multiple environmental organizations such as Waterkeeper Alliance, WildAid, and Oceanic Preservation Society. In 2018, Gallagher was listed in Variety’s Hollywood Youth Impact Report and was also appointed as a UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador for North America, making him the youngest ever UN Goodwill Ambassador to be named.

Besides acting, Gallagher is also a musician and songwriter. In 2018, he started releasing songs independently. His first single was “Blue Neon” which he released via his YouTube channel. A year later, he collaborated with The Voice contestant Trinity Rose on a duet track “Miss You ”. Gallagher then released two more singles, “Time” and “For You” also in 2019.
In 2020, he started his first headlining tour, the “Blue Neon Tour ” due to the coronavirus he was unable to complete. That same year, he released two singles: “I Love You” on March 20 and “4th of July” on July 4th.
