Jenna Marie Ortega is an American actress. She started her acting as a child. Ortega received accolades for portraying young Jane on The CW comedy-drama series Jane the Virgin. Ultimately, she rose to prominence for starring as Harley Diaz on the Disney Channel series Stuck in the Middle and most recently starring as Wednesday Addams in Netflix’s teen horror series Wednesday.

Ortega was born on 27th September 2002, in Coachella Valley, California, the fourth child in a family of eight. On her paternal side, she is of Mexican descent and on her maternal side, she is of Mexican and Puerto Rican ancestry.

A year later she appeared in the series Rake, and from 2014 to 2019, she started portraying the recurring younger version of Jane on the romantic-drama series Jane the Virgin. Following that she starred in many other television shows.
In 2022, she played the titular role in Tim Burton’s supernatural series Wednesday. Her future work includes the thriller film Finestkind and the reprise of Tara Carpenter in a sixth Scream film.
