Funmi’s love for acting started when she was in secondary school where she got engaged in the school drama group and cultural events. Funmi started her career as an actress in 2003 while she was still a student at the University of Ibadan although she was a science student studying Botany her love for Arts never withered. She will travel from Ibadan, Oyo state to Lagos state for auditions daily. Her passion and dedication paid off when she got her first major role, in the movie titled “Bound by Destiny” the movie was produced by Madu Chikwendu, this role brought her to the spotlight and she has built her career on it. Her continuous hard work and commitment since 2003 have helped improve her portfolio.
