Nancy was born on the 17 of December 1991 in Lagos State. She hails from Edo State. Nancy lost her mother at the tender age of five and was raised under the caring wings of her strict father, who she wasn’t too close with. She grew up in Lagos and Benin City. Nancy claims that the disciplinary actions of her father helped shape her into the woman she is today.
As a child, she didn’t know what career to settle down for. In fact, as a kid, Nancy used to act, but, she never thought she would take it seriously in life. Her father wanted her to become a lawyer. But, Nancy wanted to be so many things, from a lawyer to a surgeon to a geologist. She even considered becoming a pilot. It wasn’t until later that she set her eyes on becoming a Social Worker. Nancy didn’t discover her acting talent all by herself; a director did and asked her to go for it. At that moment, she told herself she could do it and then decided to venture into acting as a career.
Nancy had her primary and junior secondary school in Lagos after which, she had to move to Benin City, where she had her secondary school education. After her secondary school education, she enrolled for a six-month basic course at the University of Port Harcourt before studying for a course in Social Work for two years at the University of Lagos.

Nancy Isimestarted her journey into the entertainment industry by being an usher to support herself in school. In this role, she worked with different companies. While she did this, people dished out compliments at her, telling her she has the body of a model. She eventually ventured into modelling and won her first beauty pageant; Miss Valentine International in 2009. She went on to contest for Miss Telecoms Nigeria, which she didn’t win but, came in at second place.
She modelled for big fashion houses like House of Marie and worked with designers like Zizi Cardow and Lanre Da Silva.

While at Ultima Studios, her first job was Ultima Studio’s gossip TV show called “The Squeeze”. Later on, Nancy Isime went on to host Ultima’s technology show known as “What’s Hawt”. In 2019, Nancy replaced Toke Makinwa as the host for Hip TV’s show “Trending”.
