Katrina Kaif was born Katrina Turquotte on 16th July 1983 in British Hong Kong. Her father, Mohammed Kaif, works as a British businessman of Kashmiri ancestry and her mother Suzanne is an English lawyer and charity worker. Kaif has seven siblings: elder sisters Stephanie, Christine, and Natasha; younger sisters Melissa, Sonia, and Isabel and an older elder brother Sebastien. Isabel is also a model and actress like her big sister.
Kaif’s parents divorced when she was a child, and her father relocated to the United States after the split. Kaif and her siblings were raised without their father’s influence as they were raised by their mother. Kaif’s paternal ancestry has been questioned by some colleagues in the film industry.
