Kristina Tonteri-Young is a Finnish-New Zealand actress and former ballerina. She is well-known for her role on Netflix’s series Warrior Nun.

Kristina Tonteri-Young was born on 17th January 1998 in Finland to Finnish and New Zealand parents. At age six her family moved to New York City. She studied at The Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow from 2009-2012. She speaks Finnish, English and Russian fluently.
While she was in Bolshoi, Tonteri-Young featured in La fille mal gardée at the Bolshoi Theatre and The Sleeping Beauty and Le Corsaire at the Kremlin Ballet. When she was 16 she started acting and attended some Shakespeare summer courses at RADA. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 2016 to 2019 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. There, she featured in a few stage plays.
Tonteri- Young made her debut on-screen on Netflix’s series Warrior Nun, where she portrayed the character of Sister Beatrice. Following that she has appeared in a few films, including Netflix’s Outside the Wire.
