Arin’s Education & Early Life
Growing up
Arinola Olowoporoku was born and bred in Lagos state Nigeria into a polygamous family. Though she’s from Ekiti state, she had her primary and secondary school education in Lagos.
She later went to the University of Lagos for her undergraduate studies. The Fashion designer then went to Toronto for her first post graduate studies where she studied Fashion business and management and then got a second post graduate degree from Robert Gordon University, Scotland. At some point also, Arin was living in Canada.
BBNaija Arin stated that her ex-boyfriend at some point in their relationship duped her but as the smart and strong lady that she is, she got her money back and called the relationship a quit.
How Arin’s Career started
Arin was part of the team that took Nigeria to its first ever ‘La Biennale di Venezia’ in Italy in 2017; they call it the Olympics of Arts.
The 29-year-old BBNaija Season 6 Housemate started her fashion line NIOLABLACKNG in 2009. The TV star walked with fashion Guru Mai Atafo in 2015 during her Post graduate studies.
2019 was a big year for Arin’s Fashion brand for being invited to display at the AFI Cape Town Fashion week and then in December that same year, she was also selected to showcase her Fashion collection at the prestigious GTBank Fashion week in Lagos.
She also works as an independent Artist and cultural curator fixated on contemporary African Art.
In 2020, she was one of the designers that went for a fashion seminar with Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Dior Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Like a shooting star, Arin got recognition when she was Selected as one of the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate. Since then, her fan base has spread out like a wildfire.
