He was born on 6th November 1984 in Korle Gonno, Accra, Ghana. He was raised in the capital city of Ghana, Accra. Information about Narty’s family is unknown to the public although it has been confirmed that he is related to British Actor / Director Danny Erskine.
EDUCATION
Nartey studied at Korle Gonno Methodist primary and JSS in Accra for his primary education. He went to Holy Trinity Cathedral Secondary School (HOTCASS) for his secondary education. He further studied at the University of Ghana, Legon where he majored in directing and obtained a BFA in Fine Arts.
CAREER
It is not exactly clear when Nartey began his acting career, but he came to the limelight in 2004. Eddie Nartey walked down the aisle on September 22, 2018, with his wife Vida Danso at a private ceremony, unfortunately, the union came to an end on January 25th, 2021 when the actor announced the death of his beloved wife on his social media account. Her cause of death is said to be liver failure.
