The obsessed writer and poet grew up in Lagos living with her grandmother in Nigeria as her parents were London based. She went to a secluded secondary school for her secondary education.
In Angel’s words, she has had her own share of ups and downs. Its’s interesting to know that the BBNaija Housemate had once attempted suicide. She lost her first relationship in 2019, she’s currently single and in her words ready to mingle.
Education
Angel Agnes Smith went to Marywood Girls College in Lagos state for her secondary education. She then got admission into Unilag for her tertiary education where she later dropped out after two weeks. Angel felt like the school system thing wasn’t really for her.
Her secondary education however had a lot of influence on her decision about school, in her words; she said that the pressure she underwent in Marywood Girls college has raised an unrealistic expectation. She also stated that her mum is never encouraged and satisfied with whatever she does.
Her mum came down to Nigeria when she got to know that Angel had dropped out. The mother enrolled the BBNaija housemate in a British foundation college to study mass communication but as a free bird that cannot be caged, Angel Smith dropped out again.
How Angel’s Career Started
Angel Agnes Smith started her writing career at age 14, she stated in the BBNaija house that writing was a way she expresses herself and her escape route. The 21-year-old poet is also a good story teller. She has a dynamic fashion style which she believes people misjudge her for. She’s also passionate about cinematography.

After so much thought about what she wants to do and trying to place her feet on the ground, the sun rose on Angel when She was selected as one of the Big-Brother Naija Season 6 Housemates.
